‘Scream 7’ Gets Its Latest Casting Update

Scream 7 has announced the many additions it is making to the cast. Joel McHale will step into the role of Mark Evans, husband to Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott. The most recent addition to the cast is Mark Consuelos. He is a former soap opera star and recently was a part of the teen show Riverdale. Consuelos’ character in the film has no specifics yet.

McHale and Consuelos are not the only stars to join the franchise. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire and Madame Web’s Celeste O’Connor, Gen V’s Asa Germann and Pitch Perfect’s Anna Camp are all signing onto the film. But the list doesn’t stop there. A Friend of the Family’s Mckenna Grace, The Fabelmans’ Sam Rechner and 1883’s Isabel May are all joining the film. Many of the new characters are not yet revealed, however, Isabel May will play Prescott’s daughter.

Courtney Cox is also returning as the franchise journalist, Gale Weathers. Returning from the fifth and sixth films are Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown as twins Chad and Mindy Meeks-Martin.

The director of the film, Kevin Williamson, revealed that filming began earlier in January. And a date has been set for the film to hit theaters, February 27, 2026.
