Paramount’s Scream 7 is set in motion as the franchise’s latest installment with an exclusive look at the 4DX experience poster. This was a visual tease that places horror and thriller not just on a flat screen, but in an immersive way to experience Ghostface’s return.
The Scream franchise has always leaned towards horror-involving self-awareness within their characters, story elements, and sharp commentary. This film is planned to host an immersive experience to audiences, with its sight, sound, and motion environmental effects coming from the 4DX version, offering the audience a fully sensory horror experience.
The project also marks a major return for some of the franchise’s previous cast. The lead Neve Campbell is reprising her role as Sidney, as her trauma is extending along the family tree with her daughter Tatum, played by Isabel May. Alongside Campbell, the thriller will star Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers and Matthew Lillard as Stu Macher, both reprising their legacy roles.
The plot remains mostly under wraps, but what emerged from Scream 7 suggests this is not a chase to kill type of film, but will explore how past trauma can present new terror. The story will center on Sidney’s daughter who is set to become Ghostface’s next target. Scream 7 is will hit theaters on February 27th, 2026.
