Scouts vs. Zombies has put its cast together and, according to The Hollywood Reporter, added its female lead with Sarah Dumont. Dumont joins a cast that includes Tye Sheridan, Joey Morgan, and Logan Miller. Paranormal Activity writer Christopher Landon directs a screenplay from Carrie Evans and Emi Mochizuki.
Scouts vs. Zombies takes place in a small town that falls prey to a zombie outbreak and a troop of Boy Scouts must use their skills to stop them. Halston Sage, David Koechner, and Patrick Schwarzenegger, the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, will also appear. Todd Garner, Andy Fickman, Betsy Sullenger, and Bryan Brucks will produce. Sources for the Reporter say that Sarah Dumont’s role could make her a star similar to Megan Fox in Transformers. Production on Scouts vs. Zombies is scheduled to begin this May.
