Send Help is a horror thriller that will follow two colleagues (Dylan O’Brien and Rachel McAdams) on a deserted island after a plane crash. Sam Raimi will serve as director and producer of the film. 

Under Raimi Productions, Zainab Azizi will also be a producer. Damian Shannon and Mark Swift co-wrote the script the film is based on. 

The film is expected to be released in theaters, which O’Brien has experience in. Notably, this past year he received positive reviews for his performance in Saturday Night as Dan Aykroyd. The film was released in 2024 and was directed by Jason Reitman.

Another 2024 film that starred O’Brien was producer M. Night Shyamlan’s Caddo Lake. Written and directed by Logan George and Celine Held, the film was also a thriller. O’Brien also appeared on television screens in 2024, making an appearance in Fantasmas from Julio Torres. 

O’Brien was also a part of an award-winning film in 2024. The film Ponyboi won the Grand Jury Award from New York’s LGBTQ+ Film Festival, NewFest. The film is expected to be released in 2025. He also was an executive producer on the film Twinless, which is in the U.S. Dramatic Competition at the Sundance Film Festival.
