Ryan Reynolds Re-teases Taylor Swift Cameo in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’

With Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine releasing later this month, Ryan Reynolds has been promoting his new film on an international tour and on social media.

A recent Instagram story from Reynolds shows Deadpool shot from behind, heading into a winter forest. Almost instantly, fans pointed out the similarities to Taylor Swift’s Evermore album cover. If that wasn’t enough evidence, Reynolds even used one of her songs in the post.

This was not the first time Reynolds teased the possibility of putting Swift in a Marvel project. In a 2022 Entertainment Tonight article, he claimed Swift would be in the movie if they filmed at his house. He said that he “would do anything for that woman. She’s a genius.”

Swift has been long-time friends with Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively. Their kids—Betty, Inez, and James—were featured in the Folklore song, Betty. The All Too Well music video was filmed at Reynolds’ home, and he made a cameo in the You Need to Calm Down video.

Swifites were hoping that Taylor would make a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine. Unfortunately, Entertainment Weekly confirmed that this was not the case. But director Shawn Levy reassured that the film has several other cameos.
