Ryan Gosling In Talks To Star In Upcoming ‘Star Wars’ Film

The Star Wars universe may be getting its hands on some A-list talent. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ryan Gosling is in talks about joining the expansive universe. The project is an unnamed Star Wars film directed by Shawn Levy, the filmmaker most recently behind Deadpool & Wolverine.

The film has been under development since 2022. Levy’s collaborator, Jonathan Tropper, has been working on the script since then. The script in question’s contents are currently unknown.

With such a vast expanse of time and space covered by Star Wars, it is impossible to say when or where this new film will take place. Although, we do know that it will not be connected to the Skywalker Saga.

The prospect of seeing an A-list actor, such as Gosling, join the Star Wars universe is very exciting. It will mark the rare occasion of seeing someone already so high-profile join Star Wars. The franchise has featured many up-and-coming actors in the past, but not so many established stars.

Gosling was last seen in The Fall Guy and has recently wrapped on Project Hail Mary. If his talks to join the Star Wars universe are successful, it will be an important milestone for the already massive franchise.
