A Minecraft Movie recently released in theaters, and the fans’ excitement is through the roof. Unfortunately, this is leading to a less than desirable theater experience for some.

Similar to the rowdy crowds that could be seen when the Five Nights at Freddy’s film was released, Minecraft fans are causing chaos in theaters, even prompting the police to get involved.

This chaos stems from the many memes that have been created about the film. Two of these memes are those centered around Jack Black’s lines as the iconic Steve. The first meme, is when he says the words “I am Steve’ and the second being the exclamation “Chicken Jockey!”

The memes around these lines likely spawned due to Jack Black’s uniquely fun line delivery. It is a line delivery that is fun to imitate. Unfortunately, when the entire theater erupts each time a meme-able line appears, it can ruin the experience for those who want to simply sit down and enjoy the film.

While the theater experience is less than desirable for many, it can’t be ignored that this film is bringing so many people joy. While a rowdy crowd in the theaters may be poor etiquette, there is something to be said about the passion that this crowd has for the film.
