Channing Tatum is back for a brand new movie. The trailer for his latest headlining role, Roofman, has debuted.

Following a true story, Roofman chronicles the story of a prison inmate who gets an unexpected chance to break out and make a new name for himself. After taking a job at Toys “R” Us, sleeping in the rafters while he’s off shift, he begins to get pulled into the social life of his coworkers, starting to care about them against his will.

Derek Cianfrance takes up triple duty on Roofman with directing, co-writing, and executive producing. Some of his other directorial works include Blue Valentine and The Place Beyond The Pines, both headlined by Ryan Gosling. He also served as an executive producer on Sound Of Metal, which received a nomination for Best Picture.

Tatum leads the film, with the supporting cast composed of other big name actors. Kirsten Dunst, Peter Dinklage, Juno Temple, Ben Mendelsohn, and several others round out the supporting players.

Right out of the gate, the trailer doesn’t shy away from the impact that Toys “R” Us plays in the story. The viewer immediately gets the sense of what day-to-day life is like for the escapee, sleeping in the rafters, taking care of the store at night, and partaking in all three daily meals in the break room.

Roofman comes out October 10th. Check out the trailer below.
