Roland Møller To Star As Villain In Jason Statham Action-Thriller ‘Mutiny’

Mutiny, the latest film from director Jean-François Richet (Mesrine: Killer Instinct, Plane), has cast Danish actor Roland Møller (Citadel, Land of Mine) as the villain. The film stars Jason Statham as Cole Reed, who must uncover a conspiracy after witnessing the murder of his billionaire boss. Framed for the crime, Reed is forced to solve the mystery before he is sentenced to life in prison.

In addition to Møller, two other actors have been announced as part of the cast. Arnas Fedaravičius, best known for his role in the British historical drama series The Last Kingdom, and Adrian Lester from the hit show Hustle, have joined the ensemble. However, no details about their roles have been revealed.

Mutiny recently wrapped production in the UK and Malta. While the film currently has no confirmed release date, Lionsgate is set to distribute it in North America. Lionsgate previously worked with Richet on the 2023 Gerard Butler-led action-thriller Plane.

The cast also includes Annabelle Wallis, known for her roles in Peaky Blinders, Annabelle and Malignant.

Jason Statham’s last film was the action-revenge thriller The Beekeeper, released in January. Following Mutiny, Statham is slated to reprise his role as Deckard Shaw in Fast X: Part 2, which is scheduled for release in 2026.
