While the two of the screenwriters behind X-Men: First Class and Thor (Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz) are still involved with the film version of the long-running children’s action series, Power Rangers, Roberto Orci is not. According to an exclusive from Deadline, Orci had to drop out of his producer role on the film, as the schedule involved interfered with his work directing the third entry in the rebooted Star Trek series. Even with Orci out of the picture, the Power Rangers movie is still a-go for a July 22, 2016 release.
