Remastered Version of “Titanic” To Celebrate 25th Anniversary of the Iconic Movie

The Hollywood classic Titanic, which was originally released in 1997, will be remastered in order to celebrate its 25th anniversary. The remastered version can be viewed in 3D 4K HDR and high-frame rate. Paramount is also expected to announce a date soon.

The original movie, which was directed by James Cameron and starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, has won 11 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original Song, and has become the third highest grossing movie of all time with $2.2 billion.

The news was teased by Jon Landau at Disney’s CineEurope presentation in Barcelona. Landau is COO of Lightstorm Entertainment and has produced numerous movies with Cameron, including Titanic and Avatar.

Titanic will hit the theaters on Valentine’s Day in 2023, and Disney will release the movie internationally on February 10, 2023.

Valeri Vankov: I recently graduated high school and will be moving from Bulgaria to attend Yale University in the fall. My interests range from data science to finance to trends in the entertainment industry. When it comes to movies, I am always down for a good social commentary or a psychological thriller. K-dramas are also on my watchlist. In my free time I enjoy going outdoors and reading the works of Haruki Murakami, Kurt Vonnegut, and others.
