Release Date Set for Sundance Hit ‘James White’

The Film Arcade has announced November 13th as the theatrical release date for James White, winner of the Best of Next Audience award at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. In his feature debut, writer-director Josh Mond presents a tale of a self-destructive, reckless twentysomething man(Christopher Abbot, A Most Violent Year) given to excesses, who struggles to come to grips with his mother’s (Cynthia Nixon, Sex and the City) serious illness. Scott Mescudi (aka Kid Cudi), Makenzie Leigh, Ron Livingston, and David Call also co-star. The film was met with positive reviews for its performances, humor, and emotional intensity.

James White will be screened next at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. In addition to the awards-friendly November release date, The Film Arcadia is mounting a high-profile campaign for the performances of its two main leads, Abbot and Nixon.
