‘Red Notice’ Trailer Released: Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot Star in New Action Thriller

Variety reports that Netflix’s upcoming action thriller, Red Notice, released its trailer yesterday and features three of Hollywood’s biggest action stars. Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot will star in Red Notice, due for November 12 on the streamer.

The plot follows John Hartley (Johnson), a do-good FBI agent who is responsible for bringing in the most infamous criminals in the world. He crosses paths with two rival robbers mid-heist, Nolan Booth (Reynolds) and The Bishop (Gadot).

Johnson is seen in the trailer making a pact with Reynolds to help him find The Bishop in exchange for helping Reynolds avoid trouble from his previous international jobs.

As always, Reynold’s comedic skills are tuned full dial in the film, joking in high-stress situations. He calls Johnson his work wife and sister wife as they pursue The Bishop, scolding and teasing his unlikely comrade.

In addition, Ritu Arya from The Umbrella Academy and Chris Diamantopoulous from Silicon Valley are a part of the cast, but their roles have yet to be disclosed.

The original release date for Red Notice was planned for theaters until Netflix purchased the film from Universal during summer 2019. This will be the streamer’s most expensive film, a budget reportedly around $200 million.

Rawson Marshall Thurber (Skyscraper, We’re The Millers) wrote and directed the pic. Watch the trailer below and mark your calendars for November 12.
