Rebecca Ferguson to star in Upcoming Sci-Fi Film ‘Life’

Following her breakout role in last year’s Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Rebecca Ferguson has been somewhat in demand. Now she will star in the upcoming film Life, directed by Daniel Espinosa (Safe House).

Life follows a space crew aboard the International Space Station where they examine a sample from Mars which proves that there may be intelligent life on the planet. The film will be written by the same duo who penned the upcoming Deadpool film, Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.

The actress has a slew of project underway including a supporting part in Florence Foster Jenkins starring Meryl Streep (Ricki and the Flash) and Hugh Grant (About Boy). She has also been cast in The Snowman starring current Oscar nominee Michael Fassbender (Steve Jobs) and the upcoming thriller The Girl on the Train opposite Emily Blunt (Sicario). Ferguson is also expected to return in the next Mission: Impossible installment, which starts filming in August.

We shall stay tuned to the latest developments on Life.
