According to Variety, Gravitas Ventures has obtained the U.S rights to X-Men: Apocalypse actor Tye Sheridan‘s latest film. Kyle Wilamowski’s helmed the movie, All Summers End, both sitting in the director’s chair and penning the script, which reportedly tells a coming-of-age tale. They are currently eyeing a June 1st release.
The romantic drama is headlined by up-and-coming stars Sheridan and Kaitlyn Dever. The story follows a budding teenage romance between the characters of Sheridan and Dever. The former, however, must wrestle with his culpability and desire for repentance following the outcome of a foolish trick that ended in a fatality.
All Summers End, formerly known as Grass Stains, had its worldwide reveal year ago at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Sheridan is an emerging talent and set the tone for his career as the precocious Ellis in 2012’s Mud starring Matthew McConaughey. He’s set to have big year following his leading role in Spielberg’s Ready Player One. The indie drama also stars Bill Sage, Pablo Schreiber, Annabeth Gish, Paula Malcomson, Austin Abrams, and Ryan Lee.
Look for Wilamowksi’s romance drama to hit theaters or streaming platforms over the summer.
