Peter Dinklage will soon be involved in a Rumpelstiltskin movie for Sony, written by Patrick Ness. Ness is known for his A Monster Calls, which was adapted into a movie in 2016 that was directed by J.A Bayona (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) and starred Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything).
The Rumpelstiltskin movie would be based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale about a girl who is demanded by an evil king to spin straw into gold or else she will be executed. In distress, she makes a deal with the imp that she will later regret.
Dinklage is wrapping up his role in Game of Thrones with the final season set to air in 2019. He will then be seen in the sci-fi film I Think We’re Alone Now, directed by Reed Morano. Dinklage has won two Emmy Awards and one Golden Globe Award for his performance as Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones.
