Park Chan-wook’s ‘No Other Choice’ To Star Squid Game Actor Lee Byung-hun

Award-winning South Korean director Park Chan-wook’s new film, No Other Choice, has had first-look images revealed. This comedy crime thriller is written, directed, and produced by Park. No Other Choice is about a man grappling with unemployment who decides to take some extreme measures.

Park has created some incredible movies and television shows in the past, such as The Handmaiden, Decision to Leave, and The Sympathizer. Park is also behind the original version of Oldboy.

In the teaser images for Park’s new film, we see stars Lee Byung-hun and Son Ye-jin dancing in a garden. Having Lee Byung-hun in the teaser image will likely draw the attention of audiences outside Korea. Lee is well known for his role in the hit Netflix show Squid Game, which recently released its second season.

No Other Choice has been categorized as a mix of many genres. Comedy, crime, drama, and thriller have all been used to describe this upcoming film. It will be interesting to see how No Other Choice balances all those categories.
