Actress and model Pamela Anderson will release a new memoir entitled Love, Pamela, by the end of January, where Anderson describes her journey from being a small-town girl to a recognizable star in the book. Variety recently published an article describing the alleged incident of the actress’ early career involving Tim Allen that is included in the memoir.
In 1991 Anderson started her acting career in television, participating in the show Home Improvement, where she shared the set with Allen. Anderson was 23 years old and allegedly had a shocking encounter with the actor in the hallway during the first day of filming. The excerpt published reads:
“On the first day of filming, I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe. He opened his robe and flashed me quickly- completely naked underneath. He said it was only fair because he had seen me naked. Now we’re even. I laughed uncomfortably.”
Home Improvement was Anderson’s first acting credit, but what made her recognizable was her role in Baywatch that came in 1992.
The actress has been associated with roles linked to her status as a sex symbol. In 1995 a sex tape with her then-husband Tommy Lee, was stolen. The famous incident inspired a show inspired in it that was released in 2022 entitled Pam and Tommy. Anderson recently stated that she felt “violated” by the show’s makers. In her upcoming memoir, she also addresses this issue.
The 55-year-old star made her Broadway debut in Chicago last year with positive reviews; there are still many things to come for the actress. The new memoir will be released this January 31.
