Reports have been circulating recently about the possibility of a brand new film in the Pirates Of The Caribbean. After not having a film since 2017, more and more headlines are cropping up about a possible sixth film, even with one of the series icons weighing in on it.
Orlando Bloom played Will Turner, a pivotal character in the first three films in the series. Working closely with Captain Jack Sparrow, Turner went from hating pirates to being a proper swashbuckler, even taking command of the fabled Flying Dutchman after marrying his longtime love, Elizabeth Swann.
Bloom, also known for Troy and Lord Of The Rings, appeared at Fan Expo Chicago recently, talking about his acting experiences during a panel. As Entertainment Weekly noted, he shared what he would want most for a Pirates Of The Caribbean 6, if he was to appear in one.
“I would personally love to see everybody back. I think the way to win on that one is to get everybody back. If they can, and if everybody wanted to go back,” Bloom said on the topic.
When reporting on the topic, MovieWeb reinforced the notion that Bloom’s return to the series isn’t set in stone. While a new Pirates movie has been discussed at length, Bloom has not been confirmed to be making an appearance in it as of yet.
