

Olivia Wilde has signed on to star alongside Pedro Pascal in Tony Gilroy’s next film. Tony Gilroy’s previous work includes his Oscar-nominated work on the 2007 film Michael Clayton, writing the Star Wars prequel film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and his Emmy-winning work on the Star Wars TV series Andor. Gilroy is set to write and direct the film, titled Behemoth! (With a stylized exclamation point). Other members of the cast include David Harbour and Eva Victor.
In addition to writing and directing, Gilroy will also produce, along with Sanne Wohlenberg and John Gilroy. Details about the film are currently being held under wraps, though Gilroy has described the film as centering around a cellist. An article from The Hollywood Reporter also describes the film as a “love letter to the music of the movies and the people who make it”. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pascal will be playing a musician from a family of musicians, played by Pedro Pascal, who returns to Los Angeles. The Hollywood Reporter also claims that Olivia Wilde will be playing the former lover of Pascal’s musician.
Principal photography on the film is currently underway in Los Angeles, California. The film is set to be released by Searchlight Pictures.
