The Men in Black are back, albeit with new characters and souped up technology. The first trailer for the franchise’s reboot has dropped internationally and promises audiences a fresh take on the familiar action comedy.
Men in Black International stars Tessa Thompson as skilled outsider who has spent much of her life trying to track down and join the alien-combating organization. When she finally joins their ranks, she is partnered with their hot-shot, if at times bumbling, seasoned agent, played by Thompson’s Thor: Ragnarok co-star Chris Hemsworth. The two team up to fight nefarious other worldly entities as well as take down a mole in the organization.
Liam Neeson, Emma Thompson, Rebecca Ferguson, Kumail Nanjiani, Rafe Spall, and more also star. Straight Outta Compton and Fate of the Furious director F. Gary Gray helms the new installment based on a script by Matt Holloway and Art Marcum.
