The awards season is in full swing, with countless films from 2025 getting nominations and accolades for their quality, or lack thereof, as one show would put it. The Razzie Awards, known for selecting the most disliked films of the year, have announced their nominees for the 2025 film season. 

The Worst Picture category selected 5 films from 2025. Among them are The Electric State, Hurry Up Tomorrow, Snow White, Star Trek: Section 32, and War Of The Worlds. Out of those picks, War Of The Worlds in particular gained notoriety online, with many referencing the dialogue, poor acting, and the “screen life” filming style. 

The Razzies didn’t shy away from jumping on board with what many of the viewers were saying about War Of The Worlds. It popped up in several categories, including Worst Actor for Ice Cube and Worst Remake, but the most unique of these is the running for Worst Screen Combo. While usually held for acting combinations, the Razzies took a slightly different route with War Of The Worlds, nominating Ice Cube and his webcam. 

On the topic of Ice Cube, he was nominated for Worst Actor for his performance in War Of The Worlds. Worst Actor also included fellow Worst Picture nominees Jared Leto and The Weeknd for Tron: Ares and Hurry Up Tomorrow, respectively. 

The Hollywood Reporter, which also posted a full list of nominees, noted that War Of The Worlds is the most nominated film this year at the Razzies, alongside Snow White. Both are nominated in six separate categories, with them even sharing slots in the aforementioned Worst Picture and Worst Remake, while also both in the running for Worst Screen Combo, Worst Director, and Worst Screenplay.
