A new trailer for the comedy Balls Up has been released via an Amazon Press Release. The film will be directed by Peter Farrelly (Dumb and Dumber, Hall Pass).
The trailer starts off with Paul Walter Hauser’s (Cobra Kai, Inside Out 2) character Elijah presenting a condom product while revealing few of the main cast members. Mark Wahlberg’s (Ted, Daddy’s Home 2) character shows an interest in the product. Designer Elijah and salesman Brad team up to present the sponsorship to the World Cup. Both receive backlash and death threats as Elijah tackles one of the mascots, which prevents Brazil from scoring a goal. The trailer finishes off with action scenes as Elijah and Brad attempt to escape Brazil. Watch the trailer below:
Balls Up stars Hauser, Wahlberg, Daniela Melchoir (The Suicide Squad, Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3), Eva De Dominici (Under the Stars, The Cleaning Lady), Benjamin Bratt (Miss Congeniality, Doctor Strange), Eric Andre (2 Broke Girls, Troll’s Band Together), Sacha Baron (The Dictator, Madagascar) and Molly Shannon (How the Grinch Stole Christmas, People We Meet on Vacation). Rhett Reese (Deadpool, Zombieland) and Paul Wernick (6 Underground, G.I. Joe: Retaliation) wrote the screenplay. The producers include Wernick, Reese, Andrew Muscato (The Greatest Beer Run Ever, Muhammad Ali: A Life), Dana Goldberg (The Family Plan, Spy Kids: Armageddon), David Ellison (Top Gun: Maverick, Jack Reacher) and Don Granger (Mayday, Fountain of Youth) with Amazon MGM Studios and A Skydance Production.
Balls Up premieres on April 15 on Prime Video worldwide.
