Don’t Move, from producer Sam Raimi, and directors Adam Schnidler and Brian Netto, is set to be released soon. A new trailer has been shown off for the film ahead of its debut.
Don’t Move sees a young woman caught in the grip of a vicious serial killer. When the killer uses a fast-acting drug to paralyze her, she has no choice but to fight back before the drug can take effect.
The film stars Kelsey Asbille opposite Finn Wittrock, alongside Daniel Francis, Moray Treadwell, and Denis Kostadinov, among others.
The script for the film was written by T.J. Cimfel and David White. The duo worked together before on 2015’s Intruders, and a segment in 2014’s V/H/S: Viral.
Producer Raimi has cemented himself as a creative icon in the world of horror. His first directorial feature, The Evil Dead, immediately shocked audiences upon its release, and would go on to spawn several sequels and even a TV show. He has since helmed and produced several other horror films, and even others such as his Spider-Man trilogy.
ComicBook.com reported that Don’t Move boasts a fairly small budget. It was one of the projects that was able to move forward thanks to an interim agreement during the SAG-AFTRA strikes, which slowed production on countless other works.
