New Trailer and Poster Released for Upcoming Documentary ‘I am Paul Walker’

November 30th of this year will mark the fifth year anniversary of the death of beloved american actor Paul Walker. Walker was known for his roles in action films, primarily the Fast and the Furious franchise, and his passing caused by a single-car crash shocked his fans everywhere. On that anniversary we will see the release of the documentary I am Paul Walker directed by Adrian Buitenhuis, who also directed the documentary I am Heath Ledger. Today we saw the release of a new trailer for the film as well as a new poster advertising it.

The film delves into the life of the beloved actor, with interviews conducted with his family, close friends, and co-stars from his films. In the trailer, we see clips of these interviews as various persons connected to Walker speak about who he was, what he wanted to do with his life, and a number of very personal details. There is plenty of never before seen footage from Walker’s films, his personal life, and his early childhood from old home videos. As well as looking at a very personal side of Walker through his home life and young adulthood, we will also get a look at his career in the movie business.

Virgil Films, Network Entertainment, and Paramount Network are producing and distributing the film although it will not be seen theaters. The documentary previously aired on television and will come to VOD (Video on Demand) on the 30th. A DVD release will also be available on December 4th of this year as well.

Robert Thornson Jr.: My name is Robert and I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of California Irvine. I am pursuing a B.A. in Film and Media studies with hopes to work in the creative industry. I have always had a passion for storytelling and since youth I've loved film. I grew up loving the movies of directors like Wes Anderson, Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, Martin Scorsese, David Fincher, and many more along with writers such as Aaron Sorkin and Quentin Tarantino. One thing I have always done is write about movies and communicate to others information about the "film community" and the industry as well as about the films themselves. I write creatively on a daily basis.
