New ‘Toy Story 5’ Trailer Brings The Gang Back Together For Another Adventure

The toys are back in town and facing their most high-tech challenge yet. A full trailer has been released online for the next part of Pixar’s iconic franchise, Toy Story 5.

Buzz, Jessie, and the rest of the toys have been hard at work making sure Bonnie can have the best summer possible. But when she gets a new Lilypad tablet, all the toys worked for seems to be thrown into question, as all her attention gets drawn to the tablet. Calling on Woody for help and getting the old gang back together, the toys must find a way to recapture Bonnie’s imagination, or risk being made obsolete by the Lilypad.

When it comes to the cast, all the Toy Story mainstays are back to reprise their roles. Tom Hanks returns as Woody, alongside Tim Allen as Buzz, Joan Cusack as Jessie, Wallace Shawn as Rex, John Ratzenberger as Hamm, and Blake Clarke as Slinky. Greta Lee has been brought on board to voice the Lilypad tablet, with other newcomers Craig Robinson, Anna Faris, and even Conan O’Brien.

Taking up the director’s chair is Andrew Stanton, taking the reins from Toy Story 4’s Josh Cooley. Stanton has been heavily involved with Pixar since the studio began churning out feature-length films. He was a writer on some of their classic films like Toy Story and A Bug’s Life, and even directed some of their biggest titles, from WALL•E to Finding Nemo.

Toy Story 5 hits theaters June 19th. Check out the trailer below.
