The release of Superman is fast approaching, with the film just under a month away from its debut. Ahead of its opening, an official clip has been posted from the movie, giving fans their first full look at a finished scene from the film.
One of the main trailers for Superman showcased a scene between Lois Lane and the Man of Steel himself. In the story, this Superman has already been a hero for some time, and Lois already knows his identity. The scene in question was an interview between Lois and Superman, with Lois voicing the concerns of many of the public.
Shown during The Kelly Clarkson Show, the clip shows what fans can only assume is the prelude to the interview. Lois begins recording the interview while at the same time giving some pointers to Superman himself.
Comicbookmovie.com noted that the clip took on a fairly comedic tone. Clark Kent, posing of course as Superman, struggles to find the right approach to the interview as a whole, considering some choices that one wouldn’t expect from a superhero who doubles as a reporter.
David Corenswet brings Superman to life in the new film, with Rachel Brosnahan playing Lois Lane. The rest of the cast includes Nicholas Hoult, Nathan Fillion, and Isabela Merced.
Superman hits theaters July 11th. Check out the clip below.
