New Project for ‘The Call’ Director Brad Anderson

Halle Berry in Brad Anderson’s 2013 thriller ‘The Call’

Director Brad Anderson (The Call, The Machinist) is set to direct the new psychological thriller Restart, based on Matthew Klein’s recently published novel No Way Back. The film will center on a man who discovers his life is being manipulated by a criminal organization. Gregory Poirier (National Treasure: Book of Secrets) will write the script while Danny Davids and Neil Canton will produce.

Production on the film will have to wait, as Anderson is currently filming another psychological thriller, Eliza Graves. The film stars Kate Beckinsale, Jim Sturgess, Michael Caine and Ben Kingsley, and tells the story of a recent medical school graduate who takes a job at a mental institution, unaware of the terrible secrets it holds.

Anderson will look to both of these new films to follow up his 2013 film The Call, which was the most commercially successful of his career bringing in $51.9 million at the box office – more than all his other films combined.
