New Horror Film ‘Stream’ Brought To Life By The Team Behind ‘Terrifier’

The team behind Terrifier joins forces to bring the original indie horror project Stream to the silver screen. The trailer has recently dropped and the release date was announced for Aug. 21. Helmed by Michael Leavy; who wrote, directed, and produced Stream; this passion project sees the cast and crew embrace the genre of horror with this original slasher using films of old as the basis for this exciting new splatter fest. Leavy recruited FX artists Damien Leone and Phil Falcone from the Terrifier films to bring practical effects to Stream. The gore for Stream is sure to be stunning with its spectacle just as the kills of the greats.

Horror icons round out the cast for Stream with David Howard Thorton making a late appearance to the cast lineup. Having worked with Leavy previously as “Art the Clown” for the Terrifier films, Thorton plays the role of a crazed killer once again for Stream, this time as a mass murderer joining a killing game at a hotel known as “Player 2” hosted by Jeffery Comb’s character. These bombastic psychos hunt down the rest of the cast featuring Danielle Harris and Tony Todd.

Stream suffered delays and setbacks as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic hitting right as the film prepared to wrap production preventing crucial scenes from being completed thanks to the safety restrictions. Dedication of the fans to help see the film to completion saved the project from being shelved by the studio, donating to a Kickstarter to help Leavy shoot the remainder of the movie by raising more than $180,000. This film is for the fans of all things bloody and scary, and Stream is sure to pack in a lot of screams for audiences to revel in with the spills, kills, and thrills.
