We welcome back a demonic Daniel Radcliffe in a new trailer for Alexandre Aja’s Horns. Harry Potter has an American accent in an evil world. Say goodbye to innocent wands and hello to provocative Horns.
The film is Keith Bunin’s adaptation of Joe Hill’s best-selling novel. As previously mentioned by Courtney Rios, Hill is Stephen King’s son. Horns examines the growth of horns on Ig’s (Radcliffe) temples, after his girlfriend, Merrin (Juno Temple) is murdered. These horns mysteriously provide access to people’s darkest thoughts.
In addition to Radcliffe and Temple (Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and Atonement), the cast includes Max Minghella (The Internship), Kelli Garner (The Aviator), Joe Anderson (Across the Universe), and Heather Graham (From Hell).
Horns’ cinematographer, Frederick Elmes has collaborated with David Lynch (Mulholland Drive) for most of his projects.
The dark comedy first premiered at the 2013 Toronto Film Festival, and opens in theaters this Halloween.
