Set to be released in New York and Los Angeles on December 31, A Most Violent Year was first screened as the opener of the AFI Festival earlier this month. The film tells the story of an immigrant couple, Abel and Anna Morales (played by Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain) as they try to build up their company in 1980s New York, one of the most dangerous and crime-ridden times for the city. In the clip, Abel is teaching his employees how to make the sale of their trucks, revealing a passionate and savvy businessman as well as someone who would do anything to see his business succeed. And as a man who will do anything, his business comes under scrutiny by law enforcement due to his success as well as his business being targeted by criminals.
