New ‘Bloodshot’ International Trailer Stars Vin Diesel As a Super Soldier

Sony Pictures Entertainment recently released an international trailer for their upcoming superhero film Bloodshot, something admittedly overshadowed by the Morbius and Black Widow trailer releases.

Directed by Dave Wilson, Bloodshot stars Fast and Furious franchise actor Vin Diesel as superhero Ray Garrison a.k.a. Bloodshot, based on the Valiant Comics character of the same name.  In the trailer, it’s revealed that Diesel’s character has the ability to heal through nanobot technology, along with superhuman strength and speed. The trailer begins with his character Garrison, strapped to medical table and enhanced by injecting nanobots through his chest through his bloodstream, hence, explaining the superhuman characteristics. Guy Pearce‘s character explains that Garrison was brought back to life for a second chance after being KIA as a soldier.

The trailer follows this with a series of intense action shots that demonstrate Garrison’s unstoppable skills and fighting abilities. Although he has an army of nanotechnology in his veins, Garrison can’t help but feel that “something doesn’t feel right,” learning that the RST Corporation is manipulating his mind and memories. Garrison must find a way to fight back before it is too late, as evident by the final shots off him fighting one-on-one with Jimmy Dalton (Sam HeughanOutlander).

Bloodshot is expected to hit theaters in the U.S. on March 13, 2020. Watch the full trailer below:
