On Friday, Disney released the first official posters for Alice Through the Looking Glass through Twitter amidst the D23 convention. The sequel to Alice in Wonderland brings back stars Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska as the Mad Hatter and Alice, respectively. The posters feature both characters.

The posters (as seen above) only give faint details about the movie, other than both of the actors in full character. Their figures stand amongst a sea of melting clocks, akin to the Persistence of Memory painting.
After the massive success of the Tim Burton-directed Alice in Wonderland in 2010, grossing over $1 billion worldwide, Disney brought back the core cast for the sequel with Burton returning only as a producer.
The rest of the cast includes Anne Hathaway (Intersteller), Helena Bonham Carter (Cinderella), Michael Sheen (Far From the Madding Crowd) and Alan Rickman (Harry Potter), all reprising their roles from the first entry.
Taking the reigns as director, James Bobin (The Muppets) joins returning writer Linda Woolverton (Maleficent).
Alice Through the Looking Glass opens May 27, 2016.
