Netflix Plans A Limited Theatrical Release For the Upcoming ‘Peaky Blinders’ Movie

Cillian Murphy is returning in an upcoming Peaky Blinders movie, which will act as a continuation of the television series of the same name. The film, titled Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, will be set 21 years after the beginning of the original series. Here’s the film’s full synopsis:

“Amidst the chaos of WWII, Tommy Shelby is driven back from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet. With the future of the family and the country at stake, Tommy must face his own demons and choose whether to confront his legacy or burn it to the ground. By order of the Peaky Blinders…”

Accompanying Murphy will be a star-studded cast that includes Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Sophie Rundle, Barry Keoghan and Stephen Graham. Other members of the cast include Ned Dennehy, Ian Peck and Jay Lycurgo. The film was written by the show’s creator, Steven Knight, and directed by Tom Harper.

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man will be released on Netflix on March 20th. It will also be receiving a limited theatrical release a few weeks earlier, on March 6th.
