Netflix has high hopes for its Korean TV and Film slate following the success of 2021’s Squid Game. The slate, which is 34 titles long, was revealed in Korea this morning and featured a heavy amount of new content (both scripted and non-scripted) and previously announced titles.
Some of those titles include sci-fi thriller JUNG-E and Kill Boksoon, which will premiere at the Berlin Film Festival on February 16, 2023.
As for the TV drama side of things, Crash Course in Romance, Behind Your Touch (working title), and social commentary shows like Bloodhounds will be added to the slate. The Glory, which was Netflix’s most-watched non-English TV show last week, will have its second part arrive later this year.
Reality shows are also included on the list, Physical: 100 and a zombie survival game Zombieverse.
“Over the last year, Korean series and films have regularly featured in our Global Top 10 list in more than 90 countries, and three of Netflix’s most-watched shows are from Korea,” explained Content VP Don Kang.
“This year, we’re pushing the envelope even further with the stories we tell and how we tell them. With this lineup of Korean titles, Netflix will continue to be the ultimate destination for compelling, diverse and must-watch Korean storytelling.”
Squid Game is working on its second season, which is expected to be out later this year or early next year.

- See You In My 19th Life
- Siren: Survive The Island
- 19/20 (Nineteen to Twenty)
- Zombieverse
- The Devil’s Plan
- In The Name of God: A Holy Betrayal
