My French Film Festival Happening Now Online

My French Film Festival, which aims to present films and talent in the French film industry, is currently taking place. The festival, which runs from January 17- February 17, 2014, is its in fourth year.

As explained on the festival’s website,

MyFrenchFilmFestival.com is an innovative concept the aim of which is to showcase French directors and enable Internauts all over the world to share their love of French cinema. For its fourth edition, the festival returns with new films, new foreign languages, new partner platforms and launches in cinemas in several territories.

At $22 for a full festival pass to all of the films in competition, the festival is a unique and heady opportunity to glimpse further into the world of French film.

There are several purchasing options, including the options to pay to view individuals films and a features-only pass.

10 feature films and 10 short films are in competition at the festival, competing for The Filmmakers Award, The International Press Award, The Audience Award, and The Social Networks Award.  The Audience Award is to be voted on by anyone interested in casting a vote on the website, while the Social Networks Award will allow “100 film buffs from around the world, influential on Facebook and Twitter” to cast their vote.

The festival includes a film directed by actress Sandrine Bonnaire in her feature film directorial debut, Maddened by his Absence (J’enrage de son absence), starring William Hurt as well as other films starring Vincent Lindon, Sandrine Kimberlain, and Chiara Mastroianni.

The festival is organized by Unifrance Films.
