Movie Trailers For 2023 Releases At Super Bowl LVII

Super Bowl LVII aired this past Sunday between a litany of trailers for the top upcoming movies of 2023.

Sony Pictures 65 has Adam Driver playing a crashed pilot who discovers and becomes stranded on the Earth 65 million years ago. The sci-fi thriller hits theaters on March 10.

Amazon Prime Video debuted a trailer for Air, depicting basketball hero Michael Jordan’s groundbreaking partnership with Nike. The cast includes Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Viola Davis, and will be available on April 5.

Universal Studios bought a spot for its thriller Cocaine Bear. The film hosts a large cast of stars, including Keri Russel, Margo Martindale, and Ray Liotta, and will be released on February 24.

MGM Pictures advertised Creed III starring Michael B. Jorden, Tessa Thompson, and Jonathan Majors. The third installment from the Rocky sequel franchise is directed by Jordan and opens on March 3.

Paramount Pictures promoted Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, an action-adventure based on the titular fantasy role-playing game. The film stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriquez, and Justice Smith. Honor Among Thieves will be out on March 31.

Disney broadcast the new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, starring the titular band of superheroes and their actors. Written and directed by James Gunn, the film hits theaters on May 5.

Disney also advertised the fifth installment of the Indiana Jones franchise, with Harrison Ford returning to his titular role as the classic adventurer and archeologist. Directed by James Mangold, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny also stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, and John Rhys-Davies and opens June 30.

Universal Pictures bought a spot for Fast X, the tenth installment in the Fast & Furious franchise. The latest sequel features returning cast members Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodrigues, Tyrese Gibson, John Cena, and newcomers Brie Larson, Rite Moreno, and Jason Momoa, among others. Fast X releases May 19.

Warner Bros. aired a trailer for The Flash starring Ezra Miller as the title superhero. Directed by Andrés Muschietti, the film will be in theaters on June 16.

Paramount Pictures promoted Scream VI and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. The slasher sequel features a large return cast and many new names. The film opens on March 10. The seventh installment of the Transformers franchise opens June 9.
