The new remake of Child’s Play has been making a decent amount of jabs at it’s opening weekend competition, Toy Story 4. It is fitting that when two toy themed movies are released the same weekend, the one that is an R-rated Horror film has a dark sense of humor towards the more family friendly competition. Weeks ago, Child’s Play had a new poster of Chucky walking away from what looks like a destroyed cowboy doll. That doll was obviously meant to represent Woody from Toy Story, but apparently Woody isn’t the only getting attacked by Chucky.
In a brand new poster for the horror remake, we see the arm of Chucky holding what looks like to be the end of Slinky Dog toy, which is obviously meant to represent Slinky from the Pixar movies. The toy is cut in half and Chucky is holding it over a fire place and cooking it like a hot dog. Considering the movie is still a month away, there is a likely chance that Slinky and Woody won’t be the only victims of Chucky’s dark sense of humor.
