David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand, and Dana Ledous Miller are directing the sequel. Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson have returned to reprise their titular roles in the film.

Moana 2 is a highly anticipated film. When the trailer was released 178 M people watched it in the first 24 hours making it the most watched trailer of any Disney animated feature.

Moana 2 will be released in cinemas Nov. 27.
