Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Netflix Docuseries Gets First Trailer

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, return to the spotlight in their new documentary Harry & Meghan. In this film, they are ready to tell their story from the first day they met, fell in love, and stepped down as working royals.

Netflix just released a teaser trailer on their new documentary series. The film is directed by Liz Garbus who previously worked on What Happened, Miss Simone?. Garbus promises to give the audience an intimate account of their relationship and an unprecedented look at their turbulent times as senior royals.

The trailer shows one of the scenes from the documentary, where Garbus is asking “Why did you want to make this documentary?” after Prince Harry responds “No one knows what’s happening behind close doors” and following with “I had to do everything I could to protect my family.”

Set to dramatic music, the 50-second trailer, which shows Markle and Harry flashing visibly emotional expressions at one point during an interview, does not include a release date for the series. It is simply described as “coming soon.”

Variety reports that, Royal watchers and supporters of the couple will definitely keep an eye on the timing of the trailer’s release. This comes a day after the British royal,  now identified as Lady Susan Hussey, stepped down after making offensive remarks toward a black guest at Buckingham Palace, at a private event hosted by Queen Consort Camilla.

Harry & Meghan will premiere on Netflix. Enjoy they trailer below.
