Fox Searchlight Pictures has released the latest trailer to Wes Anderson’s upcoming The Grand Budapest Hotel introducing the plentiful cast of characters in the luxury hotel-set comedic mystery. This marks Anderson’s eighth feature film credit following Moonrise Kingdom, one of his greatest creations both commercially and critically, and one that earned the idiosyncratic filmmaker his third Oscar nomination for co-penning the screenplay.
The crux of The Grand Budapest Hotel is Gustave H., the dashing, bumbling, most Andersonian concierge at a posh European hotel. He is played by Anderson novice Ralph Fiennes in a rare shot at comedy. Joining Fiennes is an all-star cast comprised of Anderson vets Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Harvey Keitel, Edward Norton, and Tilda Swinton as Madame D., in old age make-up playing a part originally offered to Angela Lansbury, as well as newcomers to the directors troupe including F. Murray Abraham, Jude Law, Tom Wilkinson and Soarsie Ronan.
The Grand Budapest Hotel is set to open the upcoming Berlin Film Festival before heading to theaters on March 7, 2014.
