Dowtown Abbey and Peaky Blinders will collaborate on the big screen, as Matthew Goode and Annabelle Wallis have recently been cast in a Christmas-inspired film starring Keira Knightley and Roman Griffin Davis called Silent Night, according to Deadline. Components of the film were unveiled to the public earlier this afternoon and production is expected to commence on February 17. Matthew Vaughn, who produced last year’s Rocketman, will be reaching for funds with Silent Night and is expected to produce the film accompanied by Maven Pictures’ Trudie Styler of American Honey and Celine Rattray of The Kids Are All Right.
This film will mark the directorial debut Camille Griffin, who will be working with an original screenplay that she compiled. Griffin also just so happens to be the mother of critically-aclaimed JoJo Rabbit actor Roman Griffin Davis. Griffin previously compiled and directed five feature shorts before writing Silent Night. Before her work in shorts and films, Griffin was previously a member of the camera department for famed cinematographers Darius Khondji and Ben Davis.
Silent Night will serve as the third collaboration between Knightley and Goode, who previously worked together on Official Secrets and The Imitation Game. Goode can be next seen in the upcoming film The King’s Man, which releases in September.
