Marvel Actor Chiwetel Ejifor Joins The Cast Of ‘Venom 3’

Chiwetel Ejiofor

According to some sources, Marvel star Chiwetel Ejiofor has signed up to join Tom Hardy in the upcoming movie, Venom 3. While some details are currently under wraps, there are new and returning members from the Venom saga. Ejiofor is a familiar face to many comic book film fans for his role as two different versions of Mordo in both Doctor Strange and Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness.

There is no news about what role Ejiofor will play, but there is a certain amount of buzz based on his acclaim from both Marvel and his Oscar-nominated role from 12 Years A Slave.

Not only is Tom Hardy returning as the titular lethal protector, but the franchise’s longtime writer, Kelly Marcel, is also taking over directing and producing this entry. Both Hardy and Marcel are producing the film while Marcel is writing the screenplay. As of now, it’s unknown whether any other characters from the Sony or Marvel Cinematic Universe will make any appearances.

However, Tom Hardy posted a picture of his script to Instagram with the title censored with a black box and a symbiote doodle with a long, wavy red tongue. Because of this, many fans have speculated the tongue hints at a Spider-Man crossover based on the color and the vaguely S-shaped tongue.
