Margo Martindale is the latest addition to the cast of Andrea Berloff’s 2019 film The Kitchen. Martindale will be joining the likes of Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip), Elizabeth Moss (The Seagull), and Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids) in the film.
It centers around the wives of recently imprisoned Irish mob members who take over the business to become the most powerful gangsters in the “1970’s Hell’s Kitchen”. Martindale is set to play the part of “behind-the-scenes operative who runs the mob.”
Martindale is best known for her roles in Sneaky Pete, The Americans, and August: Osage County. Berloff is the writer behind Straight Outta Compton and Blood Father. This will be her directorial debut.
The Kitchen is set to make its way to theaters on September 20, 2019.
