Liam Neeson Defends a Young Boy from Cartel Assassins in ‘The Marksman’!

Immigration has always been a hot topic of discussion here in the United States but what happens when your path mixes with someone who crosses the border right in front of you?! That’s the basis for the new action/thriller titled The Marksman which stars Liam Neeson in the lead role as an Arizona rancher who offers to protect a young boy who’s being pursued by a gang of Mexican Cartel Assassins! The film is being directed and co-written by Robert Lorenz (longtime producer and collaborator of Clint Eastwood).

The supporting cast will include Katheryn Winnick, Juan Pablo Raba, Teresa Ruiz, Luce Rains and Jacob Perez. Open Road Films and Briarcliff Entertainment will be distributing the film and is scheduled to be released on January 22 2021 in theaters. No word as of yet if the film will be available on any streaming services as its release date nears closer.

Rick Rice: A kid at heart who has loved watching movies from a very young age. Credit must be given to Siskel and Ebert whose film reviews educated me on the world of film inspired me to become a writer myself. I love to read books that range from various topics, copious amounts of research is something that excites me and of course sitting in a movie theater is a highlight of my life. When I'm not watching movies or reading I enjoy listening to foreign music and working hard on finishing my short stories. Currently working on my degree in English with a plan to enroll into Film School with the dream of becoming a screenwriter and director.
