Leonardo DiCaprio Signs on to the Latest Tarantino Flick

An alum of Quentin Tarantino’s films, actor Leonardo DiCaprio will be traveling back in time in the newest  movie by the director, settling all the way back in the year 1969, Indie Wire reports. Though the film is advertised as a work which incorporates the heinous murders of Sharon Tate, Wojciech Frykowski, Steven Parent, Abigail Folger, and Jay Sebring by the Manson family.

As of now, there is much speculation about how the Manson family and their crimes will be involved in the film, though it seems like these events will be more in the background than in the foreground, especially considering the known information on the plot centers around an aspiring TV actor and his experience trying to make a career out of his passion.

In addition to Tarantino’s upcoming movie, DiCaprio has a lot of interesting new projects on the books, ranging from Killers of the Flower Moon to The Black Hand, which are in pre-production, and a film on Teddy Roosevelt called Roosevelt.

Right now, the currently untitled film is poised to hit theaters on August 9th of next year.
