Lena Dunham, Austin Butler (The Dude), Maya Hawke, Lorenza Izzo recently announced that they are joining Quentin Tarantino’s new film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, visits 1969 Los Angeles and aims to make a tribute to Hollywood’s last golden age. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt; it tells the story of a one-time TV star Rick Dalton (DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt) make their way in an industry they hardly recognize anymore.
Furthermore, the large ensemble cast includes Margot Robbie, Timothy Olyphant, Luke Perry, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, Al Pacino, Emile Hirsch, Clifton Collins Jr, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Scoot McNairy, Keith Jefferson and Nicholas Hammond.
Once Upon a Time In Hollywood is Dunham’s first major feature. She has spent six seasons on the HBO series Girls as Hannah Helene Horvath, and she also produced and wrote the upcoming HBO comedy series Camping. Butler was cast in Jim Jarmusch’s The Dead Don’t Die, which also stars Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Adam Driver and Selena Gomez. Hawke played Jo March in Little Women, the new BBC’s three-part adaptation of the classic. Izzo is involved in Universal’s The House with a Clock in Its Walls.
The film is slated for release on July 26.
