The most recent Superman movie by James Gunn (and starring David Corenswet & Nicholas Hoult) has been awarded a Golden Tomato award from Rotten Tomatoes, per DCU Central via Instagram Threads, in the 27^th Edition of their annual Golden Tomato Awards. While not a broadcasted show, the accolades are to celebrate the best-reviewed content in TV and Film from 2025 using statistics from their site’s metrics.

Superman received a total of 4 nominations with 2 of those being in Fan Favorite categories (Fan Favorite Movie & Fan Favorite Action Movie), further illuminating the film’s popularity. The win was for the Fan Favorite Action Movie Award – all Golden Tomato Award winners can be seen here.
