LaKeith Stanfield has joined the cast of Die, My Love, starring alongside Jenniffer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson. It is unknown who these characters will play at this moment. Deadline provides a description for this upcoming thriller: “In a remote forgotten rural area, a mother struggles to maintain her sanity as she battles with psychosis.” Martin Scorsese, Andrea Calderwood, and Black Label Media will produce—and Lynne Ramsay (Ratcatcher, We Need to Talk About Kevin) will direct from a script she co-wrote with Enda Walsh (Small Things Like These).
Stanfield has been on a roll recently, ever since making his feature film debut as Marcus in Short Term 12. He played in countless television shows and films. In 2021, his performance as William O’Neal in Judah and the Black Messiah was nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Supporting Actor category.
His other movie roles include Andre Hayworth/Logan King in Get Out, Detective Lieutenant Elliot in Knives Out, Demany in Uncut Gems, Ben Matthias in Disney’s Haunted Mansion, and the title character in The Book of Clarence. Currently, Stenfield is filming for Play Dirty.
