Kanye West “Like[s] Jewish People Again” Because Of Jonah Hill

Over on Instagram, the infamous rapper Kanye West reported his change of heart regarding his stance on Jewish people through a post (Deadline). The reason for his shift in judgment was due to none other than the film 21 Jump Street, starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum.

Hill, who is openly Jewish, has referenced his culture multiple times. In one occurrence, Hill recounts his experience in playing Donnie Azoff, a Jewish and corrupt stockbroker, in The Wolf on Wall Street. Regarding the character, he said, “Being someone who’s Jewish and playing someone who’s Jewish in such an unflattering way, I’ve definitely thought about how the things that are beautiful about Judaism are not the things portrayed by these guys.”

West has become a controversial figure in the past few months due to his blatant anti-Semitic views and comments. As a result, many are afraid to work with him, which has hurt his career, reputation, and business deals.

In his post on March 25, 2023, West stated, “Watching Jonah Hill in 21 Jump street made me like Jewish people again. No one should take anger against one or two individuals and transform that into hatred towards millions of innocent people. No Christian can be labeled antisemite knowing Jesus is Jew. Thank you Jonah Hill I love you.”
